A downloadable Loop Island


Loop Island immerses you into a paradise stuck in a time-loop: Each dawn, you wake up after an earthquake, and you have until midnight to perform acts of kindness that trigger chains of favors

Each island inhabitant whom you help will perform a favor to another one, making a kindness net that feels alive.

But time is running out! The day resets at the first dawn breath, the volcano roars each midnight, and the island doesn't forget your actions: Previously blocked ways appear open, and new shortcuts will appear according to your contribution. 

In Loop Island, each act counts, each smiling face is a witness to your impact; only by combining generosity and strategy, you will be able to discover the loop mystery, escape from the calamity, and maybe, break the loop forever.


Loop Island was developed using  Unreal Engine 5.5





Our team comprises individuals from Colombia and Peru.

It was an interest challenge to develop our beloved game, cuz every of us is located in a different country and timezone, while Yesid is on Colombia and Gunter in Peru, Juan is in the Netherlands and Sergio in Australia, but the time zone difference was more and advantage that an obstacle, reducing the sync meetings to specific week moments, and improving the individual productivity to higher levels


We really enjoyed the travel around developing this game for the TGC jam, and we're pretty sure our players willenjoy the travel of playing it too!

We based the premise of our game on three movies:

  • "The Groundhog Day", was the main reference for our looped time system, and our starting point, with the plotwist that our actions are remembered by island inhabitants.
  • To the quest design, we aim to create a system similar to "Pay It Forward" one, but increasing the player's knowledge and control about the events happening in the game, to avoid making it too confusing.

At this point, we had an idea that could be easily performed in any scenario, at any time, and with any artistic style.

We thought of a spaceship that needed to escape from Earth, and an imminent snowy storm, a tsunami in a coastal town, but finally we decided on a volcanic island.

  •  Last but not least, for the time ambience, we picked the 20s years, which leads us to our artistic reference: "Titanic'".
